CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri women's volleyball swept Jefferson College Tuesday afternoon in exhibition play at Houck Field House. The Redhawks beat the Vikings, 25-18, 25-23, 25-19, 25-23, 15-10.
Offensively,
Addy McAleer and
Zoey Beasley led the Redhawks unofficially with six kills through three sets.
Kaelyn O'Brien, a redshirt junior setter from Virginia Commonwealth University, dished out 10 assists and six digs over the opening three sets and
Izzy Lukens posted nine (over three sets) with four service aces.

Tara Beilsmith grabbed 15 digs in three sets.
Mackenzie Meehan notched nine blocks (two solo and seven assists) in the first three sets.
SEMO and Jefferson College elected to play five sets regardless of the outcome of the first three.
The Redhawks officially opened 2022 camp on Aug. 9 and the exhibition Tuesday was the lone preseason test for SEMO before the season-opening weekend Aug. 26-27 at Houck Field House.
The Redhawks will welcome Arkansas-Pine Bluff, North Dakota State and Jackson State to Cape for the two-day SEMO Invitational tournament.
