A four-run fourth inning was the difference in TTU's series clinching win.
The Golden Eagles had the bases loaded with one out when Noah Hattier scored Golston Gillespie on a sacrifice fly. Austin Turner followed with a RBI-double and later scored on a single by Gabe Lacy. Ryan Guardino also touched home for an unearned run giving TTU a 4-1 advantage.
SEMO held a 2-1 lead before TTU's fourth inning surge.
Jevon Mason led off the game with a double and came around to score when
Andrew Keck doubled to left in the top of the first.
Two innings later,
Tyler Wilber homered to left center to give the Redhawks their one-run edge in the third.
Keck began the sixth inning with a home run to center narrowing the Golden Eagles lead to 5-3.
Gillespie came up in the bottom of the seventh and hit a two-run home run to finish off TTU's victory.
Bryce Grossius (0-2) took the loss allowing four runs on four hits and striking out in 1.2 relief innings. Grossius took over for starting right-hander
Tommy Windt who struck out six and gave up one run on two hits in two innings.
Connor Adams (4-1) picked up the win for TTU. Adams worked 5.1 innings with six strikeouts, scattered seven hits and allowed three runs.
Keck and
