Box Score CONWAY, Ark. – Southeast Missouri women's soccer concluded exhibition play Sunday afternoon at the Bill Stephens Track/Soccer Complex with a 2-1 victory over Central Arkansas.
Zoey Memmel and
Morgan McCourt both scored for the Redhawks in SEMO's third and final exhibition game of 2021.
Memmel, a sophomore transfer from Milwaukee, found the back of the net on a pass from
Hannah Compernolle.
Memmel started in all three exhibitions and registered a goal and an assist.
Morgan McCourt provided the game-winner after the Bears evened the contest at 1-1.
McCourt, a 2020-21 All-OVC Tournament Team selection, scored her second goal during the exhibition slate.
Nadiia Ivanchenko was credited with the assist.
Bailey Redden,
Lauren Welker, Compernolle,
Abby Tremain, Memmel, McCourt,
Kate Daus, and
Lexi Grote each started in all three exhibitions for the Redhawks.
SEMO finished exhibition play with a pair of ties and a victory (1-0-2).
The Redhawks open their regular-season slate at Memphis of the American Athletic Conference on Thursday, Aug. 19.
