CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Morgan McCourt, a junior on the Southeast Missouri women's soccer team, was awarded the Department of Economics' Outstanding Overall Student Award from the Southeast Missouri State University Harrison College of Business.
As a student-athlete at SEMO, McCourt earned the Ohio Valley Conference Academic Medal of Honor for a perfect 4.0 GPA in 2019 and has also been named to the OVC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
On the pitch, McCourt is a three-year member of the Redhawks soccer team and helped SEMO capture the 2019 OVC Regular-Season title.
She was named to the 2018 OVC All-Newcomer Team as a freshman and most recently garnered 2020-21 All-OVC Tournament Team honors.
McCourt was second on the team this season with four points, notching a goal and a pair of assists. She was also second on the Redhawks with 14 shots and 11 on goal, making 11 starts in 12 caps.
McCourt will graduate this weekend from SEMO with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics.
