CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri has 51 games scheduled with 25 at Capaha Field this upcoming 2021 season.
SEMO starts the spring at home with a four-game series against Milwaukee on Feb. 19-21.
The Redhawks head to Southeastern Conference power Arkansas (Feb. 25-28) for a four-game set the following week. The Razorbacks made the College World Series in each of the 2018 and 2019 campaigns.
SEMO's other two non-conference weekends feature a home series vs. Illinois State (Mar. 5-7) and road series Missouri State (Apr. 23-25). Both of those sets will consist of four games.
As far as midweek games go, SEMO will visit Saint Louis (Mar. 16), UT Martin (Apr. 13) and Austin Peay (Apr. 28), and host longtime rival Southern Illinois (Mar. 23) and Missouri State (Mar. 30). SEMO's midweek matchups with fellow Ohio Valley Conference foes UT Martin and Austin Peay will not count toward the league schedule.
SEMO will play a 30-game OVC slate. Each three-game series will be played over two days with a single game on Friday and a doubleheader on Saturday with the exception of the Redhawks home series with UT Martin (May 20-21). That series will be contested on Thursday and Friday.
In addition to UT Martin, Austin Peay (Mar. 19-20), Jacksonville State (Apr. 2-3), Tennessee Tech (Apr. 16-17) and Eastern Kentucky (May 7-8) come to Cape Girardeau this year.
Meanwhile, the Redhawks road series in conference play are at SIU Edwardsville (Mar. 12-13), Eastern Illinois (Mar. 26-27), Murray State (Apr. 9-10), Belmont (Apr. 30-May 1) and Morehead State (May 14-15).
The Redhawks open OVC play on the road at SIUE.
