After Damaria Franklin split a pair of free throws to bring the game to a 59-59 deadlock,
Eric Reed, Jr. drained a big 3-pointer from the right corner and later sunk two free throws after TTU pulled to within one again. Love then made four free throws in the last four seconds to polish off the victory.
With its win, SEMO matched its total of seven victories from a year ago.
Patterson, who started his third-straight game, became the third Redhawk to score over 20 points in a game this season. He shot 10-of-14 from the field en route to his season-high. Patterson also topped SEMO with six rebounds.
Love also reached a season-high in points. He went a near-perfect 3-of-4 from the field and didn't miss a free throw (7-of-7) in the second half. Love's seven free throws made are a new career-high.
