Biography

2020-21: Started 24 of 27 games...Ranked first on the team in rebounds (156), rebounds per game (5.8) and steals (34)...Was the Redhawks third-leading scorer with 9.3 points per contest...Made 53 three-pointers, second-most on the team...Averaged 27 minutes per game...Held the best free throw percentage (.744) among starters...Tied for second on the team with 10 blocks...Averaged 9.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in Ohio Valley Conference play...Started all but one league matchup...Finished 10th in the OVC in rebounding, tied for 14th in steals, eighth in 3-point field goals made (2.0 per game), seventh in defensive rebounds (4.7 rpg) and 29th in minutes played (27 mpg)...Made a big Southeast Missouri debut when he came off the bench to score 17 points, including 16 in the first half at Kansas City (11/28)...Had a game-high four 3-pointers and made a beyond halfcourt shot against the Roos...Followed that up with eight points and eight rebounds vs. Southern Illinois (12/2)...Scored nine points and had seven rebounds in his first career SEMO start vs. Lipscomb (12/7)...Scored double figures in 11 contests...Became the first Redhawk to get a double-double in 2020-21 when he scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds at Belmont (1/7)...Made four or more 3-pointers in five games...Had a season-best five steals vs. Eastern Illinois (1/30)...Buried a season-best five threes vs. Eastern Kentucky (2/20)...Notched two double-doubles...Score double figures in four of his final five starts of the season.

2019-20: Redshirted after sitting  out the season due to NCAA Division I transfer regulations.

Nebraska: Played in 28 games in 2018-19, averaging 4.3 points and 2.5 rebounds per game while being one of the Huskers’ first subs off the bench...His two starts came against Oklahoma State and Cal State Fullerton...Ranked sixth on the team with 24 three-pointers and shot 30 percent from long range...Reached double figures three times with a career-high 19 points in 13 minutes against Mississippi Valley State in the season-opener...Made a career-high five 3-pointers in that game, one of four contests with at least three 3-pointers...Had 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting in a win over Missouri State and 11 points on 5-of-7 field goals at #9 Michigan...Scored five or more points 10 times, including three times in Big Ten Conference play...Missed Nebraska’s last six games due to a suspension for violation of team rules that led to his decision to transfer on Apr. 17, 2019...Provided depth on the wing as a freshman in 2017-18...Saw action in seven games, tallying seven points and two rebounds in 21 minutes...Made 3-pointers against Marist and Delaware State...Played a season-high six minutes at #3 Michigan State. 

Prep: Three-year performer for Rob Brost at Bolingbrook High School, helping lead the school to a pair of third-place Class 4A finishes in his career...Emerged as one of the nation’s biggest risers in the class of 2017, finishing as a four-star recruit by Scout and 247Sports following a strong senior season...Was also among the top-150 players nationally in the final rankings by Rivals and 247Sports...Earned First-Team Class 4A All-State honors by the Associated Press and Illinois Basketball Coaches Association, and was a Second-Team All-State performer among all classes by the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun Times as a senior...Placed seventh in the Mr. Basketball voting in the state of Illinois and was the Player of the Year by the Joliet Herald News in 2017...Averaged 14.8 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in helping lead Bolingbrook to a 30-2 record and third-place finish in Illinois’ largest class in 2017...Shot 49 percent from the field, including 46 percent from 3-point range as Bolingbrook was nationally-ranked for most of the season...Was Most Valuable Player of the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic after posting a double-double 23 points and 13 rebounds, and reaching a season-high 31 points...As a junior, he helped lead BHS to the Class 4A regional championship game as the team replaced four starters...Averaged 14 points, 6.9 rebounds and one steal per game...Was named special mention Class 3A/4A All-State, First-Team All-Area and First-Team All-Southwest Suburban Conference Blue Division...Played an instrumental role in helping Bolingbrook to a 25-9 record and third-place finish at the Class 4A State Tournament his sophomore season...Also played with the Illinois Celtics/Hoopers AAU program under Coach Quintin Garrison...Ran track, qualifying for the state meet as part of the 400-meter relay in each of his final two prep seasons...Initially selected Nebraska over several other schools, including UNLV, SMU and Colorado State.
