PADUCAH, Ky. – Southeast Missouri women's tennis (4-4) utilized its sixth straight doubles point and three singles wins to defeat Bradley (8-3), 4-3, Saturday at the McCracken County High School Tennis Indoor Facility.

Southeast opened the dual meet with wins at the first and second doubles position to clinch the doubles point in its sixth consecutive meet.

Kseniya Zonova and
Sneha Sinha topped Sandra Maletin and Natalia Barbery at the top doubles position, 6-1.

Teona Velkoska and
Isabella Krupa then earned their fifth straight victory in 2019 to improve to 7-1 with a 6-2 decision over Malini Wijesinghe and Bozana Lojpur at the second slot.

The Braves then evened the dual at 1-1 with a win at the top singles position.

Kseniya Zonova responded at the second singles lineup spot to bring the lead back in favor of SEMO, 2-1. Zonova fought past Lojpur, 3-6, 7-5, 6-4.

Bradley then reclaimed the advantage, 3-2, with wins at the fourth and third singles positions.

Southeast closed out the meet with victories at no. 6 and no. 5 singles to claim the dual.

Sinha cruised by Victoria Gonzalez, 6-2, 6-1 and
Anais Emelie improved to 3-0 at the fifth position as she outlasted Nikki Perlwitz, 6-2, 4-6, 7-5.
The Redhawks next face Louisiana Tech Monday at 11 a.m. at the McCracken County High School Tennis Indoor Facility.
