Series History
Southeast Missouri owns a 3-1 lead in its all-time series against Abilene Christian. Prior to last year, the first three games of the series were played when SEMO was an NCAA Division II school. The Redhawks and Wildcats close out a home-and-home series in Abilene, Texas Thursday.

Last Time vs. Abilene Christian
The Redhawks came up short in a 70-68 loss to Abilene Christian on Dec. 21, 2018 in Cape Girardeau. Southeast Missouri and ACU faced each other to conclude non-conference play a year ago. The teams went back-and-forth in a game that featured 10 ties and 21 lead changes.

Cable Car Classic
Southeast Missouri spent its Thanksgiving at the Cable Car Classic last week. The Redhawks went 1-2 at the event with a win over Denver and losses to Cal State Fullerton and host Santa Clara. The four-team round robin tournament was played at the Leavey Center in Santa Clara, California. It was the fourth tournament SEMO participated in under head coach Rick Ray. The Redhawks are 4-10 all-time in regular-season tournament games with Ray at the helm.

Caldwell Named to Cable Car Classic All-Tournament Team
Sophomore guard Alex Caldwell was named to this year's Cable Car Classic All-Tournament Team. Caldwell averaged 14.3 points, two rebounds, two assists and 3.3 steals per game in three starts during the tournament. He also went a perfect 10-of-10 at the free throw line and scored double figures in all three contests.

November Wrap
Southeast Missouri closed out its first month of the season with a 66-51 win over Denver on Nov. 30. It marked the third year in a row where the Redhawks ended November with a victory.

Nice Defense
The Redhawks held Denver to just 51 points in their 66-51 victory on Nov. 30. It was the lowest point total Southeast Missouri held an opponent to since Chattanooga scored 42 against the Redhawks on Nov. 17, 2018. SEMO also limited the Pioneers to only 1-of-16 from 3-point range.

Free Throw Streak
Alex Caldwell carries a streak of 12 consecutive free throws made into Thursday's game at Abilene Christian. Caldwell, who is shooting 81.8 percent (18-of-22) at the free throw line, last missed a free throw with 31 seconds left vs. The Citadel (Nov. 19).

Harris Out This Week
Guard Chris Harris will not play in Southeast Missouri's games at Abilene Christian (Dec. 5) and Drake (Dec. 7)  due to a knee injury. Harris sustained his injury during practice prior to the Redhawks matchup with The Citadel (Nov. 19). He missed SEMO's last five contests. Harris leads the Redhawks in scoring with 15.5 ppg.

Double-Doubles
Southeast Missouri is tied for first in the Ohio Valley Conference with three double-doubles this season. Quatarrius Wilson has two and Sage Tolbert has one for the Redhawks so far.

The Redhawks are averaging five 3 pointers per contest and made just 29.4 percent (35-of-119) from long range. SEMO's opponents have made 63 threes and hold a 189-105 advantage in points behind the 3-point line.

Road Warriors
Southeast Missouri does not play at home for over a month. The Redhawks were in Santa Clara, California for the Cable Car Classic (Nov. 27, 29 & 30) over Thanksgiving. SEMO then heads to Abilene Christian (Dec. 5), Drake (Dec. 7), Youngstown State (Dec. 15), Ohio State (Dec. 17) and Southern Illinois (Dec. 21). The Redhawks' next home game is not until after Christmas when they host Missouri Baptist (Dec. 29).

Final Exams Approaching
After Saturday's game at Drake (Dec. 7), Southeast Missouri will break for final exams. This year's final exam schedule is from Dec. 9-12. The Redhawks will have an eight-day break before resuming non-conference action at Youngstown State (Dec. 15).

Wilson previously had a Southland Conference leading 14 double-doubles during the 2017-18 season at McNeese State.
