Redhawks Close Out Homestand
Southeast Missouri (6-10, 1-2) closes out its three-game homestand when it hosts rival and Ohio Valley Conference leader Murray State (12-2, 3-0) Saturday. Tip-off is set for 4:30 p.m., CT, at the Show Me Center.

Final Date for Fastbreak Lounge
All fans will be able to enjoy courtside food and beverages in the Redhawks Fast Break Lounge for select basketball games again this season. Adult beverages and food will be available for sale courtside on the west end of the Show Me Center for the final time this season during Saturday's doubleheader against Murray State.
Series History
Rivals Southeast Missouri and Murray State hook up for the 78th time on the hardwood Saturday. MSU holds a 56-21 lead in the all-time series that dates back to 1930-31. The Racers have the most wins against the Redhawks of any Ohio Valley Conference opponent. MSU won six of the last eight matchups between these teams. The Racers boast a 30-10 record at the Show Me Center.
Redhawks Fall to Austin Peay
Southeast Missouri fell to Austin Peay, 78-60, Thursday night at the Show Me Center. SEMO trailed the entire game and was down by double figures for the final 28:15 of the contest. Skyler Hogan led the Redhawks with 16 points, while Sage Tolbert narrowly missed a double-double with eight points and 10 rebounds. APSU beat SEMO for the fourth-straight time at the Show Me Center.
Brewer Returns
After missing Southeast Missouri's first two Ohio Valley Conference games with a hip injury, Ledarrius Brewer returned against Austin Peay (Jan. 10). Brewer scored six points and had four rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench. Four of his points came at the free throw line. Brewer is SEMO's second-leading scorer with 13 points per game.
Down at Half
For the second game in a row, Southeast Missouri trailed at halftime by 16 or more points when it was down, 37-20, against Austin Peay (Jan. 10). SEMO has trailed at the intermission a total of eight times this season and is 1-7 in such games. The Redhawks also fell behind, 33-17, at the half against UT Martin (Jan. 5), but came back to win that game in overtime.
Back On Top
Following his recent 16-point effort against Austin Peay (Jan. 10), Skyler Hogan moved to first on the team in scoring with an average of 13.2 points per game this season. Hogan or Ledarrius Brewer have been in that spot all season.
Season-High in Free Throws
Southeast Missouri made a season-high 20-of-29 free throws against Austin Peay (Jan. 10). Seven different Redhawks went to the free throw line against the Governors. SEMO outscored APSU, 20-8, at the charity stripe. It was the fourth time the Redhawks outscored their opponent at the free throw line this year.
Low Scoring
The Redhawks scored just 60 points in their last outing against Austin Peay (Jan. 10), their second-lowest point total of the season. Southeast Missouri averaged 67 points per game in its previous two matchups. The Redhawks enter the weekend ranked 12th in the Ohio Valley Conference in scoring offense with 71.2 points a game.
First Start for the Freshman
Freshman guard Alex Caldwell made his first career start against Austin Peay (Jan. 10). Caldwell scored eight points on two field goals, a 3-pointer and 3-of-4 free throws. He is Southeast Missouri's third-leading scorer with 9.6 points per contest. Caldwell became the third freshman to crack the starting lineup for SEMO this season.
Dalton Cracks Top-10 in Assists
Jonathan Dalton, who had five or more assists in four of his last five games, ranks 10th all-time in career assists at Southeast Missouri. Dalton's 273 career assists surpassed Paul Paradoski's 263 (2004-07) for the 10th-place spot. Dalton leads SEMO and ranks seventh in the Ohio Valley Conference with 64 total assists this season.
Draining 3s
The Redhawks matched a season-high 14 three-pointers at Florida State (Dec. 17). Southeast Missouri shot 14-of-37 behind the arc with seven treys in each half. SEMO made 11 or more 3-pointers in six of its last eight contests. The Redhawks are currently 29th in the nation in 3-point field goals per game (9.4).

Southeast Missouri leads the Ohio Valley Conference in 3-pointers made through 16 games this season. The Redhawks drained 150 three-pointers in 422 attempts. In the last eight games alone, SEMO made 88 threes for an average of 11 per game during that stretch.
Long Range Threat
Skyler Hogan made multiple 3-pointers in nine of his last 10 games. Hogan, who leads Southeast Missouri with 37 three-pointers made through 15 starts, drained at least three treys in four of his previous five outings. He is shooting 43 percent (37-of-86) from beyond the arc. Hogan ranks third in the Ohio Valley Conference in 3-point field goal percentage and sixth in 3-point field goals made (2.3 per game).
OVC Update
Three teams, including Murray State, Austin Peay and Jacksonville State remain undefeated at 3-0 in Ohio Valley Conference play. MSU and APSU, Southeast Missouri's opponents this week, are the league's top two scoring teams. The Racers lead the league with 95 points per game, while the Governors follow with 84.

Ledarrius Brewer is making his way closer to the 100 mark in career free throws and 3-pointers made. Brewer has drained 97 three-pointers and 94 free throws through 45 games and 40 starts as a Redhawk.
Starting Streak
Jonathan Dalton has started 43-consecutive games at point guard. Dalton has played in 77 games and made 47 starts in his career at Southeast Missouri.

Ledarrius Brewer ranks among Ohio Valley Conference leaders in scoring (17th, 13.0 ppg), 3-point field goals made (13th, 1.9), defensive rebounds (11th, 4.6) and minutes played (30th, 27.7 mpg). Sage Tolbert is 13th in the conference in rebounding (6.4 rpg) and tied 12th in defensive rebounds (2.3 rpg). Alex Caldwell ranks eighth in 3-point field goal percentage (.407) and Jonathan Dalton is seventh in assists (4.0 apg) and fourth in assist/turnover ratio (2.0). Skyler Hogan ranks 16th in scoring (13.1 ppg), third in 3-point field goal percentage (.430) and sixth in 3-point field goals made (2.3 per game). In addition, Isaiah Gable is tied for 11th with 16 points a game in conference games only.
