Scouting the Opponents
Eastern Kentucky
Eastern Kentucky is home to Adam Kleman, former SEMO women's soccer assistant coach. This is the first time the Redhawks will see Kleman on an opposing bench since the 2013 season when he was back at EKU as a graduate assistant. SEMO went 2-1-1 against the Colonels since then. EKU is 4-5-1 with wins over ETSU, Ball State and IUPUI. The most notable win for the Colonels was against Southeastern Conference foe Kentucky on the road. EKU is 0-1-1 in OVC play with a loss to SIUE who recently knocked off preseason-favorite Murray State..

McCourt's Powerful Start
Morgan McCourt has had a great start to her collegiate career with two goals and seven shots. Both of the Burlington, Wisconsin native's goals came against Illinois-Springfield (Aug. 24). McCourt has been a constant threat on offense as she has recorded seven shots over the course of four games. She participated in all eight games and logged four starts this season.
Let's Recap
The Redhawks have had a slow start to the 2018 season as they dropped their home-opener, 2-1, to Evansville. SEMO then defeated Oral Roberts after a tough trip out west to face Pac-12 members Arizona and Arizona State. The other win on the season came against Illinois-Springfield, where freshman
Morgan McCourt scored a pair of goals. Recently, the Redhawks have fallen to 0-3 in OVC play with losses to Murray State, UT Martin and Jacksonville State.
