CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri women's tennis (4-10, 1-4 OVC) heads to Martin, Tennessee, for a mid-week dual against UT Martin (1-12, 1-4 OVC) Wednesday at 3 p.m., CT at the Skyhawk Varsity Courts.
Wednesday's meet was originally scheduled for Tuesday but was moved due to the threat of inclement weather.

Southeast enters the matchup after dropping back-to-back 4-3 decisions to Austin Peay and Murray State this past weekend.

The Redhawks won two doubles matches on Friday against the Governors at the Redhawks Tennis Complex to earn the doubles point for the first time since Jan. 27's meet against Northern Illinois (4-3 win).

Kseniya Zonova and
Oleksandra Doroshenko improved to 3-0 in 2018 when they won their no. 1 doubles match.
Alessandra Maya Thompson and
Maja Lundell then registered their first victory as doubles partners at the second doubles spot to claim the doubles point for Southeast.

Kelly Sicha and
Anais Emelie each notched singles wins on Friday. For Sicha, it was her first-career conference victory. She then beat Murray State's Anja Loncarevic, 7-6, 0-6, 10-2, at the fifth singles slot on Saturday.

Doroshenko and Zonova also each tallied singles wins on Saturday against the Racers at McCracken County High School in Paducah, Kentucky.

Isabella Krupa returned to the lineup on Saturday for the first time since Jan. 27 after being sidelined with an injury. Krupa joined forces with Emelie at third doubles.

The Skyhawks host Southeast after falling to Murray State and Austin Peay this past weekend in Martin, Tennessee. UTM earned its first conference win of the season at Belmont on Friday, March 23. UT Martin was picked to finished tied for fifth in the conference with the Redhawks and Asel Jumamuhambetova was named to the preseason top ten OVC player rankings.
