Cape Girardeau, Mo. – Southeast Missouri's track and field teams competed in their final regular season indoor meet in the Redhawk Open on Friday at the SEMO Rec Center.

In the women's 400 meter dash, Georgia Tomlinson took first place for Southeast with a time of 59.12 seconds. Jezel Martin came in right after at 59.25 seconds, good for second.

Adrienne Brauer took third place in the women's one mile run, coming in at 5:20.20.

In the women's pole vault, Madison McPeak took first place, clearing 12'3.5" (3.75m).

Leslie Brooks was the top Redhawk in the women's long jump. She tied for second place, reaching 17'4.25" (5.29m).

In the women's shot put, McKenna Baker took fifth, clearing 42'5.25" (12.93m).

Anya Tonga took second in the women's weight throw, reaching 60'3" (18.36m).

In the men's 400 meter dash, Brandon Chunn took third for the Redhawks with a time of 51.72 seconds.

Marc Maton took first place in the men's one mile run, finishing in 4:13.03, setting a new facility record at the SEMO Rec Center. The previous record was 4:16.58.

In the men's high jump, Tallyn Brazell took first place, clearing 6'8.75" (2.05m).

Cal Urycki placed first in the men's pole vault for the Redhawks, clearing 13'7.25" (4.15m).

In the men's long jump Tre Curry took first place, reaching 23'7.25" (7.19m).

Kristen Carter took second place for Southeast in the women's 55 meter hurdles, coming in at 8.73 seconds.

In the women's 55 meter dash, Leslie Brooks placed second with a time of 7.59 seconds.

Courtney Jones took second place for Southeast in the women's high jump, reaching 5'1" (1.55m).

In the men's triple jump, Chris Martin took first place clearing 51'6.5" (15.71m).

Logan Blomquist was the top Redhawk in the men's shot put, reaching 55'3.75" (16.86m), good for fifth place. He also competed in the weight throw and took third, clearing 57'3.5" (17.46m).

In the men's 800 meter run, James Kosbar placed first, with a time of 1:58.32.

Cheyenne Wells took fourth place for the Redhawks in the women's 800 meter run, finishing in 2:35.40.

In the men's 55 meter dash, Haile Wilson took third for Southeast coming in at 6.48 seconds.

Jane Boessen was the top Redhawk in the women's 3000 meter run, placing third with a time of 10:57.59.

In the men's 3000 meter run, Nathan Cook took second, finishing in 9:13.62.

Southeast completed the meet with a men's team of James Kosbar, Brandon Chunn, Andre Bluiett and Kaylon Jenkins taking second place in the 4 x 400 meter relay.

The Redhawks will head to Eastern Illinois next Friday and Saturday for the OVC Indoor Championships.
