CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri women's volleyball (11-7, 3-2) ousted UT Martin (8-10, 2-3), 3-1 (25-23, 25-23, 14-25, 25-18), Tuesday night at Houck Field House to match its overall win total from 2017.

Bilbruck notched her third straight career double-double when she matched a personal-best outing of 15 kills and 15 digs. Ochs dished out 40 assists with 18 digs.

Southeast opened the match with a 6-2 advantage in the first set before UTM stormed back with a 5-0 run to take the lead, 7-6.

A kill from Krista Berns along with three Skyhawk errors made the score line 14-10 SEMO. Bilbruck would add a kill to grow the Redhawks lead to 17-12 before UT Martin responded with a 6-0 rally to snatch back the lead, 18-17.

UTM would expand its margin in the set to 23-19 before Southeast rallied off six unanswered points to capture the first set, 25-23.

Malloy started the rally with a service ace followed by kills from Annie Wehrheim and Maggie Adams (2).

The Redhawks extended their lead in the match to 2-0 with an identical score of 25-23 in the second set. Winners from Malloy and Ochs made SEMO's edge 15-11 and Wehrheim chipped in a kill to bring the lead to 17-15.

Berns moved the score line to 20-16 with a kill as the Skyhawks would come as close as a point 23-24 before a Malloy kill sealed the set.

In the fourth set, Southeast jumped out to a 12-6 lead after a 6-0 run that featured a Wehrheim kill, a solo block from Ochs and a service ace from Ally Dion.

SEMO expanded its advantage to 22-8 after a Bilbruck kill punctuated a 7-0 rally. Bilbruck would add another kill to bring match point as the Skyhawks had chipped away at the lead, 24-15.
