AUBURN, Ala. – Southeast Missouri's track and field team's completed competition Saturday evening at the Tiger Track Classic with multiple student-athletes earning top-10 finishes.

Sierra Maddox kicked off the day with a height of 3.75m (12' 3.5") to take seventh in pole vault.

Zach Gordon claimed ninth in the long jump with a leap of 6.81 (22' 4.25") while Leslie Brooks had a top jump of 5.07m (16' 7'75") on the women's end.

In discus, Logan Blomquist claimed fourth with a best mark of 49.99m (164') followed by Stephen Zagurski in seventh (46.20m; 151' 7"). Blomquist also took ninth in the shot put with a throw of 15.76m (51' 8.5").

Kayla Gutierrez's top shot put toss measured in at 13.16m (43' 2.25") while McKenna Baker had a season best mark of 12.88m (42' 3.25"). Gutierrez threw again in discus, taking sixth (44.78m; 146').

In the 1500m, Dan Plunkett clocked the best men's time of 4:03.27. In the next heat, Curtis Reed had a similar time of 4:06.01. Angie Sumner nearly bested her personal record with a time of 4:45.54 while Natalie Kopplin clocked in at with a new best time of 4:50.77.

Nick South had a time of 15.46 in the 110m hurdles. South was also the lone Redhawk to record a height on the men's end of pole vault and placed seventh (4.55m; 14' 11")

In the 100m dash, Andre Bluiett registered a time of 11.18 seconds.

In the 400m, Brannon Wright finished with the time 50.11 seconds while Georgia Tomlinson had a new personal best in the women's running at 59.34.

Megan Parks (2:20.05), Eilish Overby (2:21.03) and Carli Knott (2:24.42) all clocked similar times during separate heats of the 800m. Five Southeast men made an appearance on the men's end, with James Kosbar registering the top time of 1:55.57 in 11th followed by Jordan Brown in 12th (1:55.69).

Wesley White took fifth in the men's 400m hurdles (54.03) while Miya Dorsey placed seventh in women's competition (1:03.26). Dorsey ran again in the 200m, finishing with a time of 26.28. Zach Gordon was the lone runner in the men's 200m, nearly breaking his personal best with a time of 21.67.

Both Griffin Bailey (9:46.11) and Anna Thomas (11:44.80) took third in their respective 3000m steeplechase runs.

Southeast will head to Terre Haute, Indiana, to take part in the Gibson Invitational. The meet will be hosted by Indiana State and will see the OVC do battle with the Missouri Valley Conference.
