Midweek Doubleheader Postponed

Series History
The Redhawks are 67-21 all-time against Austin Peay and 13-7 against Murray State. Southeast won five of its last six matchups with APSU and posted series victories in each of the last two seasons. The Redhawks have dropped four of their last six games against MSU, but came away with a series win against the Racers a year ago.
Yard Work
Ten different players have homered for Southeast this season.
Rachel Anderson (4),
Addison Barnouski (2),
Sarah Messex (2),
Parker Bandy (2),
Mykaela Arellanes (2),
Abby Tillotson (3) and
Darby Pruett (2) homered multiple times, while

Pruett on Hitting Streak
Third baseman
Darby Pruett is on a five-game hitting streak. Pruett had back-to-back two-hit games against Eastern Illinois (Apr. 1). She went 4-for-6 with a double and two RBIs for the twin bill. Pruett wrecked Jessica Wireman's no-hit bid with a leadoff single in the bottom of the fifth inning during game two. Her hitting streak began on Mar. 25.
Life on the Road
Southeast played its first 29 games of the 2017 season outside of Cape Girardeau. The Redhawks are 5-6 in true road games, 10-8 in games played at neutral sites and 0-2 at home this year. Southeast has all 13 of its home games in April.
Over Halfway
Southeast has an overall record of 15-16 more than halfway through its 2017 season. The Redhawks have one tournament victory (Jackson State Tournament, Feb. 11-12) and one series win (at Alcorn State, Feb. 25) this year.
100 Career Games
Nicole Deering (147) and
Claire Wernig (111) have played in over 100 games during their Southeast careers.
Riley Hayes became the third player on this year's roster to hit the 100-game mark. Game two of the Redhawks doubleheader against Eastern Illinois (Apr. 1) marked the 100th game for Hayes.
Darby Pruett will be the next to play her 100th career game when the Redhawks host Austin Peay and Murray State this weekend.
Rookie Sensation
Freshman center fielder
Rachel Anderson is having an outstanding rookie season at Southeast. Anderson enters the week second in the Ohio Valley Conference in batting average with a .438 clip. She leads the league in triples (7) and ranks fourth in slugging percentage (.781), fourth in on-base percentage (.500), tied for fourth in hits (42) and third in total bases (75). Anderson leads the Redhawks with 15 mulitiple-hit games and seven multi-RBI contests this year. She ranks third in the nation in triples and ranks 36th in slugging percentage.
Nice Work
Freshman
Rachel Anderson ranks third in the nation and leads the Ohio Valley Conference with seven triples through 31 games. Anderson's seven triples are the most in a season by a Southeast player since Kelsey White had seven in 55 games during the 2000 campaign.
Triple Time
Southeast is first in the Ohio Valley Conference and fourth the nation with 13 triples this season. The Redhawks had just seven triples in 49 games a year ago. The 2017 Redhawks are two triples away from cracking the school's top 10 list for most triples in a season.
Start Me Up
Sophomore shortstop
Sarah Messex started every game of her Southeast career to date. Messex enters the weekend with a streak of 80 consecutive starts. She has the longest games started streak of any Redhawk and is one of three players on this year's team to start every contest.
Rachel Anderson and
Mykaela Arellanes are the others.Â
Double-Digit Hits
The Redhawks registered 10 or more hits a total of 10 times this season and are 8-2 in those contests. Southeast pounded out a season-high 18 hits vs. Jarvis Christian College on Feb. 11. As a team, the Redhawks are fifth in the Ohio Valley Conference hitting .304.
Pulling Rank
Southeast ranks among the top five Ohio Valley Conference teams in batting average (5th, .299), slugging percentage (5th, .457), on-base percentage (4th, .377), doubles (5th, 45), triples (1st, 13), total bases (5th, 379) and walks (3rd, 96).
