CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri women's tennis continues their fall season with the Redhawks Invitational on Saturday at the Redhawks Tennis Complex.
"We are excited to be hosting this tournament on Saturday," head coach Mary Beth Gunn said. "It is a great opportunity for our players to showcase the hard work they have put in this fall to a home crowd. Our goal is to step onto the court with big energy and put into play what we have been working on in practice."
Southeast will host fellow Ohio Valley Conference member, Murray State, Maryville and William Woods in the head to head tournament. The Redhawks will face Murray State to start the invitational at 9 a.m. on Saturday and then take on Maryville in the afternoon at 3 p.m.
In between both of SEMO's matchups, William Woods will compete against Maryville at 11 a.m. and then Murray State at 1 p.m.
The home tournament marks the second time the Redhawks have competed in the fall after they traveled to Conway, Arkansas for the Central Arkansas Invitational Sept. 22-23.
