After playing its last four games on the road, Southeast Missouri State women's soccer (6-2-1, 0-0 OVC) returns to Houck Stadium for two Ohio Valley Conference matches this weekend.

Reigning OVC Champions Murray State (2-4-1, 1-0 OVC) come to Cape Girardeau for a 7 p.m. matchup on Friday.

The Austin Peay Govs (6-4, 1-0 OVC) will come to town on Sunday. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. Sunday's match will feature Redhawks Club Day. Touchdown Plaza in the east end of the stadium will be open for tailgating.

Series Histories
Murray State
Southeast Missouri leads the all-time series with Murray State, 11-8. At home, SEMO is 5-2 against the Racers. The teams met twice last season, both times in Murray, Kentucky. The Redhawks fell 4-1 in the regular season meeting. Both teams faced off in the championship round of the OVC Tournament. The Racers netted the golden goal with a minute left in overtime to defeat Southeast and claim the tournament title. Last year's losses broke a five-match winning streak over Murray. SEMO last lost to the Racers at Houck Stadium on Sept. 26, 2008 by a 1-0 margin.
Austin Peay
The Redhawks lead the all-time series against Austin Peay, 9-6-2. At home, Southeast is 5-2-1 against the Govs. The Redhawks have not beaten Austin Peay in the last five meetings, with the last win coming on Sept. 23, 2011. The Govs shut out the Redhawks in the regular season last year, 2-0, in Clarksville.

Murray State
The reigning conference champs enter Friday's match with a 2-4-1 record. On the road, the Racers are winless at 0-4 with losses to big names like Alabama, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, and Saint Louis. Murray opened league play with a 3-2 win over Morehead State on Sunday. The Racers are being out-scored this season, 17-8, through seven matches. Opponents are averaging 2.43 goals per game. Harriet Withers has scored half of the team's goals and has a team-best nine points. She is the only player with multiple goals this season for Murray State.
Austin Peay
The Govs are currently 6-4 on the season and 1-0 in OVC play. Austin Peay opened the season 3-0 but then lost its next three games. Since then, the Govs have gone 3-1 including defeating Morehead State on the road Friday, 1-0. APSU is 3-3 on the road in 2016. Kirstin Robertson's eight goals leads the OVC this season as well as her 17 points. Gina Fabbro has two goals and leads the team with three assists.

What's Ahead
The Redhawks will be back on the road for three-straight matches beginning next weekend at Jacksonville State. The Redhawks and Gamecocks will play Oct. 7 at 7 p.m. Southeast will then travel to Nashville, Tennessee for a showdown with Belmont on Oct. 9 at 2 p.m. The final road match of the season will be Oct. 14 at Tennessee Tech.

Southeast Missouri opened OVC play going 1-1 last weekend. League play opened with a 1-0 shutout of Eastern Illinois on Friday.
Natasha Minor scored the lone goal of the match just before halftime. The defense worked to hold EIU to just four shots in the match en route to the shutout. The Redhawks suffered a 2-0 loss on Sunday at conference rival SIUE. The Cougars netted the game-winner in the 35th minute then added to the lead 28 seconds into the second half.
