Redhawks Wrap Up Outdoor Regular Season

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Southeast Missouri completed their final regular outdoor season meet on Friday at Indiana University's Billy Hayes Invitational.
Paden Wachter led off the meet with a hammer throw mark of 44.78m. She returned late in the meet to finish eighth in both discus (40.18m) and shot put (11.77m).
Kevin Farley had a season best throw in shot put measuring 18.88m and claiming second place. He also finished fifth in the hammer throw with a toss of 63.10m. Jason Walker competed in the event as well, having a top toss of 51.94m.
Both returned for the discus, with Farley taking first (55.63m) and Walker placing fifth (51.44m)
Andrew Ryan took fourth in the javelin (51.49m) while Duncan Ross finished eighth (47.85m). Ross also finished seventh in pole vault with a height of 4.55m.
On the women's side, Sierra Maddox's top pole vault mark was 3.60m.
In the 3000m run, Craig Munie placed third with a time of 8:42.06.
Megan Parks clocked a time of 2:22.68 in the 800m run.
In a seventh place finish in the 3000m steeplechase, Shane Brown registered a time of 9:45.35.
In the men's 1500m run, Marc Maton took fourth by clocking a 3:46.31 finish.
The Redhawks return to action next weekend at the Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Tennessee State. The two-day event will be held on May 13-14 in Nashville, Tennessee.
