ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Southeast Missouri (12-24) was swept in a doubleheader by Saint Louis (16-21), 12-7, 6-2, Wednesday at the Billiken Sports Center.
A six-run sixth inning propelled SLU to a 12-7 win in game one.
After falling behind, 4-0, Southeast tied things up when it plated four runs in the top of the third inning.

Claire Wernig delivered a one-out single to center field and went to third on
Savannah Carpenter's single to right.
Danielle Turner followed with a three-run home run, her second round-tripper of the season.
Riley Hayes walked, advanced to third on a base hit to right center by
Haylee Krack and scored the tying run on a sacrifice fly by
Brittany Stevens.

A pair of home runs regained a 6-5 for the Redhawks in the fifth.
Turner homered again, this time down the left field line to start the inning. Krack then launched her team-high seventh home run of the season over the center field wall.
SLU tied the game once more with a run in the bottom half of the fifth before pulling away for good.
Allie Macfarlane doubled home two runs with one out in bottom part of the sixth inning. Two Southeast errors figured into the Billikens scoring four more runs (one unearned) as SLU extended its lead to 12-6.
Turner scored Southeast's last run in the seventh inning.
Turner went 3-for-4 with three runs scored, two home runs and four RBIs to lead the Redhawks. Krack, who missed Southeast's last four games with a knee injury, followed with two hits, a run scored, home run and one RBI.
Eight of Southeast's 10 hits came from the first six hitters in its lineup.
Mackenzie Hoelting (0-5) suffered the loss in relief. Hoelting gave up five runs on three hits and walked two in just one inning. She relieved starter
Madeline Krumrey, who scattered seven hits, allowed six runs, struck out two and walked six in 4.1 innings.
Laney Kneib (4-4) picked up the win out of SLU's bullpen. Kneib gave up just one run on two hits and struck out one in 2.2 innings.
Offensively, the Billikens had 11 hits with two each coming from Macfarlane, Hailey Weavers, Lore and Mackenzie Peter.
SLU built an early lead with two runs in the bottom of the first inning during the nightcap.
The Billikens had two on with no outs when Elizabeth Everingham drove in Peter on a single to center. Emma Buckles later scored when Macfarlane grounded out to give SLU a 2-0 advantage.
Southeast brought the game to a 2-2 deadlock on
Sarah Messex's two-out single. Stevens and
Mackenzie Long scored on the play.
SLU countered with three runs in its decisive fifth inning.
Buckles reached on a fielder's choice and moved to second on a wild pitch. Everingham stepped in and ripped a double to left center, scoring Buckles. Macfarlane's double down the left field line brought in two more runs, giving the Billikens a 5-2 cushion.
SLU added one more run on a two-out single by Everingham to polish off its sweep in the sixth.
Maddie Baalman (4-6) gave up two runs on five hits, struck out three and allowed three walks in a complete game victory.
Kelsey Ihns (0-2) suffered the loss. Ihns allowed four hits, four runs and walked two in 4.1 innings.
Southeast had five hits with Stevens going 2-for-3 with a run scored to lead the way. Turner, Krack and Messex contributed one hit apiece.
Everingham went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs, and Macfarlane finished with three RBIs to lead SLU.
Southeast also committed five errors in the doubleheader, as well.
The Redhawks return to Ohio Valley Conference play when they head to UT Martin for a three-game series, beginning Saturday.
