Upcoming Meet
Southeast Missouri's men's and women's track & field teams host the Redhawks Invitational on Friday, Feb 19. The event will mark Southeast's final meet before the Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Championships.

Conference Marks
Jordan Brown, Cole Davis, Kameron Long, and Marc Maton recently earned a school record breaking time of 9:55.52 in the distance medley. Their time ranks first in the conference and 35th nationally. The women's distance medley team of Kaitlyn Shea, Megan Parks, Miya Dorsey and Angela Sumner also set a school record the same weekend, finishing with a third-ranked conference time of 11:58.34.

In other track events, Jarred Pasley's 400m dash time of 48.53 earns the top OVC rank this season. Haile Wilson ranks third in the men's 60m dash with a time of 6.82 seconds. Maton owns the second-best mile run and 5000m times this season with adjusted times of 4:09.27 and 14:19.70, respectively. The men's 4x400m relay team of Pasley, Jordan Barber, Brandon Chunn and Brannon Wright leads the OVC with a time of 3:12.71.

In field events, Christian Locke boasts the top mark in pole vault (16'6.75"). Chris Martin's triple jump is an OVC-leading 51'1". Martin ranks 36th in the nation, as well. Jacob Kent's height of 6'.75" in the high jump currently ranks second in the OVC. Stephen Zagurski holds the second longest distance in the weight throw at 56'1". Jason Walker's weight throw of 55'10.25" follows and stands third in the conference. Sierra Maddox and Haley Holton tied last weekend in pole vault at Purdue, earning third in the conference with a mark of 11'10".

Duncan Ross holds the OVC's best men's heptathlon score this season with 4057 points. Taylor Coffelt sports the second-best women's pentathlon score with 3450 points.

Looking Ahead
Southeast will compete at the OVC Indoor Champions on next weekend in Nashville, Tennessee. The two-day event will begin Friday, Feb. 26 and will be hosted by Tennessee State University. Southeast's men's team won the OVC indoor title last season, while the women placed third.
