CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri will return to Houck Stadium Friday for a showdown with regional rival Arkansas State. The Redhawks and Red Wolves kick off at 6:30 p.m. The Redhawks will then hit the road for a match with Union University on Sunday at 4 p.m. The Redhawks' match with Union will be Southeast's last match before Ohio Valley Conference play begins next week.
Last season, the Redhawks defeated the Red Wolves on the road, 3-0. Breana Beine posted a hat trick in the match. Southeast is undefeated against Arkansas State all-time, 7-0-1. In fact, Southeast has never allowed a goal to the Red Wolves in their eight meetings.
Sunday's match at Union will be the first ever meeting between the Redhawks and Bulldogs. Fans can watch the match for free online.

National Cheeseburger DayThe Redhawks will be celebrating National Cheeseburger Day on Friday. McDonald's will be giving out cheeseburgers to the first 150 fans through the gate. There will also be a cheeseburger eating contest during halftime.
Let's ReviewThe Redhawks split a pair of matches last week in Florida. Southeast suffered their third-straight shutout Friday when they fell, 2-0, to Florida Atlantic. Southeast snapped the loss streak with a 5-3 win over Lynn University on Sunday.
Angie Mann posted a hat trick in the game with three goals.
Alyssa Sickler picked up her first career win in her first start in net as a Redhawk.
Scouting the Opponents
Arkansas State Red WolvesThe Red Wolves have lost five of their last six games with the only win coming on Sept. 6 against Mississippi Valley State, 4-0. Last weekend, A-State lost to Idaho (2-0) and Louisiana Tech (3-1). The Red Wolves' opponents average 2.13 goals a game. Jordan Adams and Katey Carmichael lead the team with two goals each this season.
Union BulldogsUnion is winless on the season after starting 0-4; however, the Bulldogs won their two exhibition games in commanding fashion, out scoring opponents 12-3. So far in the regular season, opponents are outscoring the Bulldogs, 14-2 in four games.
Looking AheadSoutheast will open Ohio Valley Conference play next week with a pair of home games. The SIUE Cougars, whom the Redhawks shared the 2014 Conference title with, come to town on Sept. 25 to open the conference schedule. Friday's game will feature special fan seating behind the goal for a new location to watch all the action. Eastern Illinois will be in Cape that Sunday, Sept. 27.
