CONWAY, Ark. - Southeast Missouri (0-4) dropped its fourth-straight road match of the season when it fell to Central Arkansas (3-0), 7-0, Saturday morning.
Southeast, which was shutout for the second time, did not win a set. Mariya Kostyuk (No. 1), Kateryna Stoianova (No. 2), Anna Makhneva (No. 3), Viviana Ortiz (No. 4), Maria Montenegro (No. 5) and Annisa Warasanti (No. 6) each lost in the Redhawks singles lineup.
Kostyuk/Ortiz, Stoianova/Makhneva and Melissa Martin/Montenegro came up short in doubles play.
"This week we have to regroup," said Southeast head coach Leah Killen. "We have to have some great practices and learn to develop points in an intelligent and strategic manner."
Southeast returns to action at regional-rival Saint Louis Feb. 10.
