Southeast Missouri will attempt to break a Houck Field House attendance record when they host Southern Illinois in the home opener on Sunday. Southeast Missouri will attempt to break the attendance record of 1,168 set on November 9, 1993 when Southeast played Murray State. The Redhawks defeated Murray 3-1 in the match. Free "Houck "FILLED" House" t-shirts will be given out to the first 1,000 students through the gate. During the inaugural Houck "FILLED" House event a year ago, the Redhawks came up 141 fans shorts of their goal.

Silent Auction
Along with the Houck "FILLED" House event Sunday, the Redhawks volleyball team will hold a silent auction. All money raised will go directly to the Redhawks volleyball program. Items include a pair of 2015 Cardinals tickets, Guest Coach for a Match, a one-hour practice session with the team, a German Beer experience worth $300 from Broadway Biergarten, and much more. The auction will open at 12:30 Sunday and will close following the second set. Winners will be announced during the third set.

Looking Back
The Redhawks finished tournament play last weekend. Southeast went 3-1 at the ISTAP Collegiate Cup 2 hosted by Alabama State. The Redhawks picked up sweeps against Alabama State, Savannah State, and The Citadel before falling in five sets to Southern Mississippi to close the tournament. Kelsey Keeve and Andrea Baylin earned all-tournament honors for their performances on the weekend. Keeve tallied 37 kills and a .444 hitting percentage last week. She made just seven errors on 72 attempts. In the win over The Citadel, Keeve recorded a career-high 15 kills while hitting .737. She had 12 kills, 10 digs and a .455 attack percentage against Alabama State. Keeve also finished the week with seven blocks. After a strong offensive preformance in Alabama, the Redhawks fell to UMKC Wednesday in four sets. Offense was hard to come by as Southeast had seven players with a negative hitting percentage.
