Photo GalleryCAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Isiah Jones scored 19 points, grabbed eight rebounds and dished out six assists to lead Southeast Missouri to a 103-61 exhibition victory over Fontbonne on Saturday evening at the Show Me Center.
Nino Johnson added a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds to go along with five blocks for the Redhawks.

Southeast outscored Fontbonne 38-18 in the paint, 21-4 off of turnovers and 39-15 in bench points. The Redhawks shot 50-percent (40-for-80) from the field and 35-percent (9-for-26) from three-point range as six different players scored in double figures. Defensively, Southeast held Fontbonne to a 38-percent (22-for-58) field goal percentage and outrebounded the Griffins 52-38.

"All in all, it was a good night," head coach
Dickey Nutt said. "I'm very proud of our attitude and effort. We have an unbelievable amount to work on as we get a real test next week, but we got after it for 40 minutes."

Jones went 8-for-16 shooting, including 3-for-8 from three. He scored 13 points on 5-for-7 shooting with all three of his buckets from beyond the arc in the second half.
Ladarius Coleman scored all 16 of his points in the second half, including a 4-for-5 showing from downtown.

Johnson recorded a double-double in the first half with 10 points and 10 rebounds as Southeast led 44-27 at halftime.

Early on, the teams battled back-and-forth through the first 13 minutes before the Redhawks went on a 20-8 run over the last seven minutes of the half and would not look back.

Southeast outscored the Griffins 59-34 in the second half.

Greg Gentry led Fontbonne with 14 points and a game-high seven assists while Colin Schirmer also reached double figures with 10 points and five rebounds.

Josh Langford finished with 14 points and four rebounds for the Redhawks while
Antonius Cleveland and
J.T. Jones both registered 12 points.
T.J. Thomas contributed nine points and eight rebounds.

Southeast opens the regular season with a trip to California next weekend. The Redhawks open up against Loyola Marymount at 8 p.m. on Friday and will then face San Diego at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both tip-offs are listed in the Central Time Zone.
