• Southeast Missouri enters the third weekend of Ohio Valley Conference play with a 5-4 overall record and 2-1 mark in conference play. The Redhawks split two matches last weekend at Houck Stadium. On Friday, they lost 2-1 on a late to goal to UT Martin and then rebounded on Sunday by prevailing in a similar scenario with a 2-1 victory over rival Murray State on a go-ahead goal by
F Breana Beine with 11:15 left in the second half.

• Redhawks head coach
Heather Nelson registered her 150th victory at Southeast in Sunday's win over Murray State. She is the only head coach in the 16-year program history. Nelson will be honored prior to Friday's match vs. Austin Peay.

• Southeast is 9-4-2 all-time against Austin Peay and 5-0-1 in matchups with Belmont. The Redhawks tied the Lady Govs 1-1 in double overtime in the regular season last year and were eliminated from the OVC Tournament by Peay in a 1-0 decision. Southeast defeated Belmont 2-1 in overtime last season and has outscored the Bruins 16-2 in series history.

About Austin Peay: The Lady Govs are 2-9 overall, 1-2 in Ohio Valley Conference play and 0-4 in road contests. They opened up conference play with a 3-1 victory over Eastern Kentucky on Sept. 26 and have since fallen 2-1 at Morehead State on Sept. 28 and 3-1 at Eastern Illinois on Oct. 5. Kelley Guth played her final collegiate season for Southeast head coach
Heather Nelson and associate head coach
Paul Nelson in 1996 when they were leading the Florida State program. Guth set single-season records for the Seminoles with 14 goals, six game-winners, 29 points and 56 shots on goal. She was then Nelson's first full-time assistant coach at Southeast Missouri in the 2000 and 2001 seasons.

About Belmont: Heading into this weekend, Belmont is 4-3-4 overall, 1-0-2 in OVC play and 1-1-4 at home. They have outshot opponents 176-118 but have been outscored 14-12. Freshman

Minor Voted adidas® OVC Offensive Player of the Week: Sophomore
F Natasha Minor set career-highs with two goals, five points, six shots and four shots on goal in the 4-0 victory at Eastern Illinois to open conference play on Sept. 26 and was unanimously voted adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 30. She scored twice in the first 26 minutes of the match and later added an assist in the 67th minute. It was the first weekly conference honor of Minor's career.

F Breana Beine tied a school record with three goals. She earned the trifecta in the game's first 33 minutes, marking the 10th hat trick in the program's 16-year history and first since

Lierz Impressive Early in Career: Freshman
GK Kindra Lierz has posted a shutout in four of her first nine career matches. Lierz began her collegiate career by going 228:19 before allowing a goal and was voted adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Co-Goalkeeper of the Week following the team's first full weekend of play at the Air Force Academy Falcon Invitational. She has recorded shutouts against Missouri-St. Louis, UC Davis, Arkansas State and Eastern Illinois. Lierz leads the OVC in shutouts per game (0.44), ranks second in total shutouts (4) and save percentage (.818) and third in goals against average (0.89). She was the Missouri Class 3 Goalkeeper of the Year in 2014 while competing for Glendale High School in Springfield, Mo.

Looking Ahead: Southeast wraps up the home schedule next weekend with two OVC matches at Missouri National Guard Field at Houck Stadium. The Redhawks will face Eastern Kentucky on Friday, Sept. 17 at 6:30 p.m. and Morehead State on Sunday, Oct. 19 at 1 p.m. on Senior Day. All seniors will be honored prior to the start of the home finale.
