On Tap:
About the OVC Tournament – For the second straight year, UT Martin earned the top seed and the right to host the three-day event which will take place Nov. 7-8 and 10. Morehead State earned the No. 2 seed, followed by Southeast Missouri, SIUE, Eastern Illinois and Austin Peay. The entire soccer championship can be seen for free on the OVC Digital Network.

Looking Back:
UT Martin Recap – In Friday's match against UT Martin, the Redhawks took the Skyhawks into double overtime. Only a minute into the second overtime, the Skyhawks threaded a ball into the Redhawk goal to win the match and clinch the 2013 OVC Championship and the right to host the OVC Tournament. The Skyhawks put up 39 shots on the Redhawks while the Redhawks only fired off six in the whole match. Abi Senvee was the game hero for UT Martin with the double overtime goal to win the draw. Ashton Aubuchon tied a career-high 13 saves in the match while Storm French was the only Redhawk to fire off multiple shots (2), both of which were on goal.

News and Notes:
Checking the Seedings – With the OVC Tournament upon the team, the final standings/seedings are as follows: No. 1 UT Martin, No. 2 Morehead State, No. 3 Southeast Missouri, No. 4 SIUE, No. 5 Eastern Illinois, and No. 6 Austin Peay.

A New Legacy – Heading into the match on Oct. 25 against SIUE, Ashton Aubuchon was one save short of tying the career saves record. With her seven saves that weekend, Aubuchon rocketed into first place in the record book with 234 career saves and counting. With her career-day against UT Martin, Aubuchon finishes the regular-season with 247 career saves.

No "Minor" Achievement – Freshman Natasha Minor has shown a maturity beyond her years in her first season at Southeast. The De Pere, Wis., native leads the Redhawks with 12 points (4 goals, 4 assists) and is currently tied for tenth in the OVC with 0.80 points per match.

Scoring is a "Bre"ze – One player who appears to be finding her offensive stride is junior forward Breana Beine. After posting only one assist in the season's first 12 contests, Beine cracked the score sheet in both of Southeast's victories two weeks ago. The transfer from Evansville scored her first goal as a Redhawk in last Friday's overtime win over Belmont. She came through again in Sunday's win over Tennessee Tech, assisting on the lone goal of a 1-0 win over the Golden Eagles.

Defensive Stalwart – Freshman defender Christina Rohde has been just the anchor the Southeast defense needs this year. After graduating two senior backs (including 2012 OVC Defensive Player of the Year Hayley Abbott) last fall, Rohde has picked up the slack on the back line. The St. Louis, Mo., native has played 1,454 minutes this season and helped Southeast post seven shutouts and hold opponents under two goals 11 times. She is also chipping in offensively with three assists. Twice this season, Rohde has been recognized with the OVC Defensive Player of the Week award.

Go Play, Kids – Southeast's freshman class has been learning on the job this season. Five of the eight freshmen have appeared in at least 12 contests and started on at least four occasions. Natasha Minor leads the team with 12 points (4 G, 4 A) and Christina Rohde has played a team-high 1,454 minutes on defense and has tallied three assists. Meanwhile, Kaitlin Kuznacic (933; 1 assist), Jennifer Antonacci (912 minutes; 1 goal, 2 assists) and Abby Klintworth (563) have all seen significant minutes.

Full Circle – Junior midfielder Torey Byrd's comeback from a knee injury in the spring has given Southeast a nice boost. Byrd has scored two goals in ten matches and earned the start in four of the Redhawks' last seven matches. She came off the bench to score an insurance goal that secured the Redhawks' 2-0 win over Lindenwood on Oct. 4. On Oct. 13, Byrd tallied her second goal of the year, which gave Southeast a 2-1 lead at Morehead State in the first half. Byrd led Southeast with six goals and earned OVC All-Tournament honors in 2012.
