CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Southeast Missouri soccer team's stay at home was brief one.
After facing Evansville at Houck Stadium on Tuesday night, the Redhawks (1-5-2) head back on the road for a Friday night contest at Memphis (2-3). Quick Kicks
•Friday will be Southeast's fifth all-time meeting with Memphis, but the first time the schools have met since 2006.
•Three of the previous four meetings between the schools have been either a one-goal game or a draw. Two of the four contests have gone to overtime.
•Southeast has never been shut out in five consecutive matches.
•The Redhawks are in the middle of a 410:24 drought without a goal, their last tally came in the 60th minute of play (

News and Notes:
Last Time Out – Southeast played Evansville in front of a program-record 841 fans at Houck Stadium on Tuesday night. The Redhawks outshot the Purple Aces, 18-9, but were unable to get one past UE keeper Simone Busby in a 0-0 tie.
Renee Kertz made four saves to record her second career shutout, both of which came in scoreless ties.
Kasey Crowden took a match-high tying five shots.
Scouting Memphis – The Lady Tigers are off to a 2-3 start, which is already more losses than they experienced in their 22-1-1 season in 2011. Memphis was ranked as high as fifth in the country during its run to the second round of the NCAA Tournament a year ago. The Lady Tigers are averaging two goals per match and have not been shut out this season. Tina Schryvers leads Memphis with seven points on three goals and an assist while Christabel Oduro has netted two goals and five points. Becca Brown and Christa Strickland have split duties in goal, though Strickland has a team-best 1.30 goals against average and a .769 save percentage.

Hayley Abbott has started all 63 matches Southeast has played since she arrived on campus, putting her six starts behind
Nikki Edwards' school-record 69. Abbott has also logged 5,558 minutes on the pitch (third most all-time), 366 behind the school record, which is also held by Edwards (5,924).
