Baseball Hits the Road For Three Game Set At Wright State

The Redhawks will hit the road after playing 10 straight home games after opening the season at Dallas Baptist

Shae Simmons will get the nod on Saturday for the Redhawks, the junior has 20 Strikeouts in three starts

Change in Series Schedule
The Redhawks and Raiders series opener for Friday has been moved up due to weather in the Dayton area. First pitch for the series opener is now set for 4:00 p.m., CT. Game two (1:00 p.m., CT.) and game three (12:00 p.m., CT.) are still set for their normal start times.

New Mexico State Series
The Southeast Missouri baseball team will head to Los Cruces, N.M. next weekend to take on New Mexico State. The Series has been changed to a three games in two days set with a game on Friday and two games on Saturday, Friday's matchup starts at 7:05 p.m., CT. The two teams will then play a doubleheader on Saturday with game one of the doubleheader going at 4:05 p.m., CT. and game two going at 8:05 p.m., CT.

Against the Raiders
Southeast Missouri and Wright State met last season at Capaha Field in Cape Girardeau, Mo. The Raiders took two of three from the Redhawks in the teams only all-time meetings.

Head coach Mark Hogan is seven wins away for 900 wins in his career. Hogan has coached at the NJCAA (Lurleen B. Wallace), NCAA Division II (West Alabama) and NCAA Division I level (Southeast). Hogan has 508 wins at Southeast Missouri. Hogan collected his 500th career win against Eastern Illinois last season on May 20, 2011.In 2007, he passed Southeast legendary coach Joe Uhls as the schools all-time wins leader.

Senior Shortstop Kenton Parmley is currently riding a 20 game hitting streak that dates back to last season.Parmley has also reached base safely in his last 29 contest that dates back to last season. On Tuesday against SLU he hit two home runs, his first two round trippers this season. Senior Trenton Moses has now reached base safely in 34 straight contest that dates back to last season. Moses, who currently sports .603 on-base and hit two home runs on Tuesday against Saint Louis. On the season Moses has five homers with 19 RBI. Moses is tied for eighth in the nation in home runs.
