COOKEVILLE, Tenn. –
Taylor Cowan went 4-for-6 with two doubles and three RBI, as Southeast Missouri (13-19, 6-7) split a doubleheader with Tennessee Tech (13-19, 7-7) Saturday.
Southeast Missouri 6, Tennessee Tech 2
Southeast took an early lead in the first inning, before using a four-run fourth inning to put Tennessee Tech away in game one.

Lindsey Patterson on a double to grab Southeast a 1-0 lead in the first.
After the Golden Eagles took the lead (2-1) in the bottom of the third, the Redhawks responded with a big rally in the fourth.
Shelby Stein and Kaitlin Wallace each reached base on errors. Stein scored on a single by
Evan Sallis. Southeast later loaded the bases before Patterson delivered a single to plate Wallace. Cowan then smacked her second double to knock in both Sallis and
Cheyenne Gipson, giving the Redhawks a 5-2 lead.
Southeast added another run when it scored on a bases loaded walk in the sixth.
The Redhawks outhit TTU, 9-7.
Cowan went 3-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI. Patterson followed with two hits and one RBI.
Brittney Spalding and Samantha Everett each went 2-for-3 to lead the Golden Eagles. Everett drove in both of TTU's runs on a single in the bottom of the third.
Alora Marble (7-8) pitched her 10th complete game en route to earning her seventh win of the season. Marble gave up two runs on seven hits, while striking out two and walking one.
Holly Thomas (9-9) took the loss for TTU. Thomas scattered seven hits and allowed five runs. She also recorded five strikeouts and issued two walks.
Tennessee Tech 6, Southeast Missouri 1
Tennessee Tech handed Southeast its biggest loss in conference play this season when it won, 6-1, in the nightcap.
Hannah Eldridge's bases loaded single gave TTU a 2-0 lead in the second. The Golden Eagles then tacked on one run in the third and two more in the fourth to polish off the win.
Sallis drove home Stein on a single to left center for Southeast's only run of the game in the fifth.
Both teams finished with seven hits.
Xia Wilson went 3-for-3 with a double, while Sallis followed with two hits and one RBI.
Shea Cothren (3-7) was credited with the loss. Cothren gave up three runs on six hits in 2.2 innings.
Taylor Ketchum (1-2) earned her first win of the season for TTU. Ketchum allowed only one run on seven hits, while striking out 10 and walking two in her complete game victory.
Southeast and TTU conclude their three-game series at 1 p.m., CT, Sunday.
