Courtney Gapelu claimed one Ohio Valley Conference title at last weekend's OVC Outdoor Championships, winning the shot put with a throw of 48-4 3/4. The junior from Independence, Mo., also scored in the hammer throw (sixth; 157-3) and javelin (fourth; 120-7) events.
