A native of Warrenton, Mo., Scott Lathrop rushed for over 100 yards and threw for over 200 yards in a game for the first time in his career against No. 18 Tennessee State (Oct. 13). The redshirt-freshman ran for 145 and one touchdown and completed 17-of-26 passes for 222 yards and a TD. Lathrop's 145 rushing yards were the third-most in a game by a Southeast quarterback.
