Nino Johnson turned in back-to-back double-doubles in two games off the bench last week. A native of Memphis, Tenn., Johnson scored 11 points and pulled down 12 rebounds at Jacksonville State (Feb. 20). Three days later, he scored 16 points and had 14 rebounds in Southeast's final home game of the season vs. Ball State. Johnson also had the assist on Marland Smith's game-tying three-pointer with seven seconds left. He averaged 13.5 points and 13 rebounds and broke the school's all-time single-season blocks record last week as well.
