Following the rotation bye in the 2023 MIC Championship meet, Southeast Missouri would head to the Bars where Lindsay Ockler once again paced the Redhawks. The 2022 MIC defending Bars champion, Ockler posted a 9.875 in the fifth spot. 
 
Ockler's 9.875 was good enough to win the Bars once again, making her the 2023 MIC Bars Champion. The Huson, Montana-native is the back-to-back Bars champion in the conference.
