Phillip Russell averaged 22 points, 4.5 assists and four steals as Southeast Missouri split two Ohio Valley Conference games last week. A native of St. Louis, Russell opened the week by scoring a season-high 28 points and made a career-high six 3-pointers at UT Martin (Jan. 5). Two days later, he scored 16 points, dished out five assists and had four steals in the Redhawks win at Little Rock (Jan. 7). Russell scored over 20 points for the fifth time this season. He leads SEMO in scoring (16.4 ppg), 3-pointers made (39), assists (76) and steals (29).
