Laney Malloy led the Southeast Missouri women’s volleyball offense with 45 kills (3.46) this past weekend to earn Discover Kalamazoo Classic All-Tournament team. She opened the tournament with a double-double of 12 kills and 10 digs against Classic host Western Michigan (9/3). Malloy followed up that performance with 12 kills on a .290 hitting clip with a career-best matching four aces in SEMO’s sweep of Purdue Fort Wayne (9/3). She finished the tournament with 21 kills and 13 digs against the Big Ten’s Indiana (9/4). With her outing against Indiana, Malloy surpassed 1,000 career kills. Malloy also finished the weekend with 27 digs (2.08 digs/set), seven assists and five aces.
