Tesia Thompson led Southeast Missouri women's basketball this past week with 61 points (30.5ppg) and 14 rebounds (7.0pg) in 74 total minutes as SEMO extended its OVC win-streak to five games. Thompson opened the week with a game-high 28 points including 17 in the final quarter of play against Murray State on Thursday. In the fourth alone, Thompson was 5-for-8 on field goals. From the field against the Racers, she was 9-for-18 and 2-for-4 from behind the arc and added seven rebounds. On Saturday, Thompson led all scorers with a season-high 33 points in her 100th career game in a Redhawks uniform against Austin Peay. Thompson finished 12-for-21 from the field and was perfect at the charity stripe for the second-straight game (9-9, 17-17 past two games). She also had seven rebounds. Thompson finished the week with a field goal percentage of .538 (21-39) and 50 percent from three (2-4) with four assists (2.0 assists/game) and 2 steals (1 steal/game).
