Freshman libero Tara Beilsmith registered 18 digs Friday in Southeast’s 2019 NCAA Women's Volleyball Championship First Round matchup at #9 Kentucky. With the match-high outing, Beilsmith is now the Redhawks single-season digs leader during the 25-point rally scoring era (2008 to present) with 641 digs in 2019. She overcame Berkley Idel (625 in 2012) for the top spot in the records book with three digs. Beilsmith, a Second-Team All-Ohio Valley Conference honoree, also added five assists in SEMO’s first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2000.
