Logan Blomquist claimed the weight throw title Saturday at Purdue's Fred Wilt Open with a career-best distance of 62-9.5 (19.14m). He now sits second in the Ohio Valley Conference for the discipline. Blomquist also tallied a shot put throw of 51-11.75 (15.84m) for sixth Saturday and is fourth in the conference for the event with 52-8 (16.05m).
