Jesse Hosket completed 25-of-44 passes for a career-high 348 yards and three touchdowns in Southeast Missouri’s 38-31 road loss to Austin Peay. Hosket completed passes to eight different receivers and nearly helped the Redhawks erase a 28-point deficit. After SEMO trailed, 35-7, with 9:44 left to play in the third quarter, Hosket threw his three TD passes, including two in the fourth quarter to help the Redhawks outscore the Governors, 24-3, the rest of the way. Hosket’s 348 passing yards were most in a game by a SEMO quarterback since Houston Lillard finished with 387 vs. Southwest Baptist on Aug. 28, 2008. They are also the most in a game in the Ohio Valley Conference this year.
