In her first at-bat of the Eastern Illinois series, outfielder Kayla Fortner broke Southeast's all-time single-season home run record. Fortner homered twice in the Redhawks doubleheader sweep of the Panthers on Apr. 25. She leads the Ohio Valley Conference with 16 home runs in 39 starts this year. Michelle Summers held the previous record with 14 home runs in 2007.
