Emily Coon, who hails from Imperial, Mo., was named Most Valuable Player in last week's Hawkeye Challenge. She recorded 38 kills, averaging 2.53 per set and added 12 blocks. Coon led the Redhawks to their first tournament win since 2010. In addition, Southeast beat a Big Ten Conference opponent (Iowa) for the first time since 2002.
