Kayla Gutierrez extended her Ohio Valley Conference lead in both discus and the hammer throw at the Gibson Invitational at Indiana State on Saturday afternoon. Gutierrez finished third overall in discus with a throw of 47.81m (156’10”) and first overall in hammer throw with a mark of 56.21m (184’5”). Alongside of her new OVC leading distances, her shot put toss of 14.06m (46’1.5”) now ranks fifth in the conference.
