Biography
Season Outlook: Will be a starter at the outside position this season as she looks to step into the post of the top hitter on the team. One of three seniors will be looked to for leadership on a young offense.
At Southeast
2002: Ranked ninth in the OVC in kills per game with her 3.72 mark ... recorded five matches with 20 kills or more ... recorded a career-high 24 kills at Southern Illinois on 9-10 ... had a double-double at Arkansas State with 11 kills and 11 digs ... had 24 matches in double figure digs.
2001: Played in 75 games as a strong force off the bench for the Otahks. Had 184 kills for a 2.45 average. Had 159 digs for an average of 2.12 per contest, and averaged .36 blocks per game. Recorded five double-doubles on the season getting season-highs in kills (18), against Wisconsin-Milwaukee and digs (15) against Arkansas State.
2000: Appeared in 31 matches during her collegiate debut...committed just 19 errors in 95 attempts...recorded 32 kills over 31 games...recorded 14 assists...had 10 digs and four blocks at Murray State (10.21.00)...made an appearances in Southeast[apos]s first round win over UNC.
Prep Career: 2000 graduate of Columbus North High School in Columbus, Ind...team captain at the middle blocker and outside hitter positions at Columbus North...named second team All-State in 1998...selected All-Conference, All-Area and MVP in volleyball...led Columbus North in blocks and kills in 1997, 1998 and 1999...also played basketball...selected All-Conference and All-Area in basketball...named [quote]Who[apos]s Who Among American High School Students[quote]...received Senior Athlete Award and Youth Optimist Award...earned Columbus North[apos]s Scholar-Athlete award.
