2001: Was named a second-team All-OVC selection, as well as being named to the All-Newcomer team. Played in 104 games for the Otahks with 292 kills and a 2.81 average. Had the second highest hitting percentage with a .262 mark. Had three double doubles on the season with a season-high 22 kills and 14 digs against Austin Peay (10.23.01).

2000: Garnered All-Conference, All-Region, All-Tournament, All-New comer, nonimated for All-American and Player of the Year, while leading her team in kills.

Prep Career: A 1999 graduate of Martinsville High School...was All-StateSecond team, All-State Honorable Mention, All-Conference three years, All-Tournament team three years... led team in kills and blocks.

Houpt Superlatives: Born 8.27.81...daughter of Steve and Coralee Houpt... sports managment major...lists shopping and hanging out with friends as her hobbies...mother and father are graduates of Lakeland College and Southern Illinois University, respectively...also recruited by Northern Michigan, Indiana State, Austin Peay, and St. Louis University...lists her club coach her senior year as her biggest influence.
