Cowley College: Began his collegiate career at Cowley College for head coach Darren Burroughs…the lefty was a starter in year one accumulating a 6-3 record with a 6.60 ERA over 46.1 innings pitched…his second season, Perkins pitched in relief finishing with a 4-1 record and a 2.72 ERA over 39.2 innings pitched…He was selected as a 2^nd team All-KJCCC selection. 
 
Prep: Lettered three seasons and started the last two of his career at Manhattan High School for head coach Don Hess in Manhattan, Kansas…During his high school career, Perkins led his team to the Kansas State Championship game where they finished runner-up…Was selected as the All-Flint Hills Player of the Year and finished his high school career as a high school all-American…Was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 19^th round of the 2022 MLB Draft out of high school. 
 
Personal: The son of Jim and Kelley Perkins…Cade played basketball in addition to baseball during his high school career…He intends to major in sports management at Southeast.
