Season Outlook: Ashley will move to the right side position after seeing valuable playing time in 2003 at the middle blocker position. She will provide on and off-court leadership for Southeast during the 2004 season.

2003:Saw action at the middle blocker position...finished with 72 kills on the year...had 49 total blocks, including 44 block assists...had season highs of 6 kills in four matches this year...recorded 2 service aces vs. Murray State (11.14.03)
Junior College: Received honorable mention honors ... was named an Academic All-American while at Jefferson College in Hillsboro, Mo.
Prep Career: A 2001 graduate from DeSoto High School ... played for coach Beth Yancey ... was named to the First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-District ... Also was named to the Second Team All-Conference in basketball.
Smith Superlatives: Born 3.6.83 ... Daughter of Mark and Maybeth Smith ... Secondary Education major ...
