2001-02 Women's Gymnastics Roster
Biography
2002: Jessica is coming off shoulder surgery to repair a slight tear in her labrum. Her doctors are pleased with the surgery and expect her to recover by the end of January. She will compete on bars, beam and floor this season.
2001: Jessica won twice on bars in the regular season including scores of 9.75 on 3/11, and 9.85 on 2/24.
2000: Jessica proved herself a very valuable member of the Otahkian squad. She contributed consistently as an all-arounder with bars being her outstanding event. Jessica competed with a new floor routine, which allowed her to express her performance qualities. Bagwill placed 3rd at the Midwest Independent Championships and was named an All-Conference all-arounder.
Club: Participated for the Suncast Gymnastics Academy ... coached by Arnold and Cindy Gwinn ... National Qualifier at Level 10 in 1998 ... Level 9 All-Around State Champion.
Personal: Born 9-26-80 ... daughter of Larry and Debra Bagwill ... Business Management major ... attended River Ridge High School ... graduated with a 3.4 GPA in honors classes ... also recruited by Bowling Green, Eastern Michigan and Ball State ... brother Jeremy plays soccer for St. Leo College.
