Biography
2002: Candace is working on a great bar routine this season, with her second priority being floor.
2001: Spicer competed in four different events including vault, bars, beam and floor. Her high scores for those events were 9.40, 9.25, 8.55, and 9.55, respectively.
2000: Spicer was red-shirted because of a shoulder injury she sustained before arriving at Southeast. She made a remarkable recovery with that, but was unfortunately sidelined for an additional six weeks during preseason with an ankle sprain. Her first (and only) bar routine from last season scored a 9.75.
Club: Competed for North Florida Gymnastics ... coached by Mary Purvis.
Personal: Born 9-27-81 ... daughter of Harold and Carolyn Spicer ... major is undecided ... attended Central Christian Academy ... sister Tia Anderson competes in track & field for University of California-Berkley.
