Biography
2002: Amy will be a strong contributor in all four events this year. Her bar routine has been upgraded and her vault is spectacular.
2001: Cole has been nothing but impressive since her arrival at Southeast. Due to prior injuries, she didn[apos]t have a great amount of competition experience during her junior and senior high school years, but you would have never known. She was diligent with rehab exercises while still training at a very high level. She will contribute greatly to the team as an all-arounder, with floor being strength for her. At Southeast, Cole has been a Governor[apos]s Scholar, named to the Dean[apos]s List and a Scholar Athlete.
Club: Competed for Steven[apos]s Gymnastics Club ... coached by Tom Stevens.
Personal: Born 7-18-81 ... daughter of Mark and Julie Cole ... majoring in Health Promotion... attended Northwestern High School ... was the Salutatorian of her graduating class, member of the National Honor Society and Illinois State Scholar ... was also a cheerleader ... also recruited by Northern Illinois.
